Critical mass is the ultimate in cash-crop cannabis strains. She has a short flowering time, is very potent and of course produces incredible yields. Critical mass is an indica dominant strain which was produced by the breeder Mr. Nice in the 1990’s by crossing a big yielding Afghani and Skunk # 1. The resulting strain has an incredibly quick flowering period which can take as little as 7 weeks. During that time the buds become so large they can snap branches so some support may be required.

Critical mass is a short, solid plant which generally stays under 1m in height. Indoors plants can yield 70g per plant or 600g per m2. Outdoors, with plenty of sunshine and attention to humidity so that mould does not develop in the buds yields can be even bigger! So the yields are good but how about the end product? Well it does not disappoint! The smoke is smooth and earthy and the effect is typical Indica with a very strong body stone that relaxes the user.
